Jeff Kruse
Jeff Kruse (b. September 7, 1951) has been a Republican member of the Oregon State Senate.
Kruse served in the Oregon State House of Representatives from 1996 to
2004. He joined the Oregon State Senate in 2005. He has served in
that position since, representing the 1st district. He is the
Republican Whip in the senate.Kruse has worked as supervisor for Oregon Turkey Growers. He has
also worked as a construction worker. He is currently co-owner and farm
laborer at Kruse Farms.
Kruse earned his BS in Economics from Willamette University in 1973.Kruse won re-election in 2012. Kruse was unopposed in the May 15 Republican primary and defeated Eldon Rollins (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.On November 4, 2008, Kruse was re-elected to the 1st District Seat in the Oregon State Senate, besting Eldon Rollins (D). [3] Kruse raised $84,844 for his campaign, while Rollins raised $3,548.
