If you’re looking for an experience that is dramatically different from the usual Florida golf course, come to Brooksville Country Club. Brooksville is a semi-private facility that welcomes daily-fee play at an affordable rate. As of today, we no longer offer a BlackBerry version of Swing by Swing in the App World. In a few weeks, all legacy versions of SbS will quit working as well. We’ve made a modification to the way data is sent from our servers to the device. This new data is both more secure and more robust, and will support future growth and functionality initiatives – but the BB app can’t “read” it. Given that we’ve not supported or upgraded or promoted a BB app for a couple of years, this will not impact a very large pct of our audience. (About 2% of usage is BB) But, it still sucks to leave anybody out in the cold. At some point next year, if BB10 catches on, we may port our Android version over. But, for now, BlackBerry users will not be able to use Swing by Swing.
