Kruse Village
I was there, and couldn’t resist the great BARGAINS: homemade baked
goods, quilted placemats, needlepoint, knitted, and crocheted items …
all at 1950 prices! Take a look at some of the residents’ wonderful
wares: In 1988, Bill and Chuck became business partners and opened their first
Kruse & Muer Quality Foods Restaurant in what is now the Village of
Rochester Hills. Through many years of hard work and ever evolving ideas
about food and service, Bill and Chuck continued to grow their
partnership to include The Rochester Chop House and Kabin Kruser’s
Oyster Bar. Today there are four Kruse & Muer restaurants in all.

partner, Bill Kruse, continues to grow the company based upon Chuck’s
energy, enthusiasm, and vision for greatness.
