Tapatio Springs
Once known as Thunder Valley, Clyde B. Smith purchased the property in
1981 and transformed the limestone cliffs, oak trees and clear springs
into a small resort with an outstanding and acclaimed 18-hole
championship golf course. His goal was to create a golf club for local
residents and an active retreat for visitors – and he succeeded.Located on Johns Road and Highway 46 within the incomparable views of
the Texas Hill Country, just 30 minutes from the San Antonio
International Airport and 5 minutes from the center of historic Boerne,
