Charged by the creative force of Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy was a
band popular with hard rock and heavy metal fans in the mid 1970’s. They
had a huge hit with 'The boys are back in town', a song beloved of
American frat boys, about the joys of working class guys out for a night
on the town. Dr. Smith's Get Thin Program grew tremendously the first years.
Patients from all over the south, not just Atlanta or Georgia, came to
Dr. Smith. North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, and
Tenneesee residents heard about our program and they drove hours to see
us; which is a testament to the success of our Program.Over the years Dr. Smith realized how computer automation
could be integrated into our program to better serve our patients. So,
we developed a proprietary software for our program and moved everything
we did to computers. This automated our process and allowed us to stop
using paper all together. It allowed our patients to experience quick,
reliable, and error-free medical visits.
